The global office products player Esselte and Victor Stationery, the
Belfast based family owned company, have over many years manufactured
and distributed Paper products and established leading market positions
in important markets such as the UK and Northern Europe.
Esselte and Victor Stationery have now signed a strategic alliance
agreement with the objective to better utilise current capacities and
strengthen their respective competitiveness in production, marketing and
distribution of Paper products.
As a consequence of this Esselte will close the existing production
facilities for Paper Pads in Sweden and move the machinery to Victor
Stationery’s plants in Estonia. Victor Stationery will in addition to
the standard Esselte range produce a range of value added products for
Esselte. With this Esselte and Victor Stationery will serve the markets
with a complete range of modern Paper Pads according to market demands,
including environmentally friendly production and products holding the
Nordic Swan label.
The transition will take place early 2007.
Odd Erik Woelner, Esselte’s Regional Vice President of Northern Europe,

efficient machinery to Estonia and as a result we will, with Victor
Stationery, have two modern well placed factories that will serve our
markets with a broad range of updated, excitingly designed and modern

us an unique opportunity to get access to Esselte’s efficient
distribution network and sales and marketing organisations in Northern
Europe and it will give us a good possibility to market new and
innovative value added product developed and manufactured by Victor
Stationery”.
